For QuickBooks Error 15102 Contact Us: 1844-887-9236 -Error 15102-When downloading payroll updates
Solution 1: Run as Administrator
Close QuickBooks
Right click on QuickBooks icon and select Properties
Click on the Shortcut tab
Click on the Advanced button
Check the box for Run As Administrator
Click OK twice
Open QuickBooks
Click Employees at the top of the screen
Select Get Payroll Updates
Select Download Entire Payroll Update
Click Update
Solution 2: Reset Updates
Click Help at the top of the screen
Select Update QuickBooks
Click the Update Now button
Check the box for Reset Updates
Click Get Updates
If that completes with no errors, please continue on; if there was an error message, please contact QuickBooks Technical Support
Close and re-open QuickBooks
If prompted to install update, install the update
After the update is installed, the user may be prompted to update the company file; this is okay to do
Click Employees at the top of the screen
Click Get Payroll Updates
Select Download Entire Updates
Press and hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard
Click Update (after clicking update the Ctrl key can be released)
Solution 3: Rename folder and Reset Updates again
Close QuickBooks
Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 20XX\Components (Where XX is the year of QuickBooks)
The ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, if it is not displayed, please follow this article for instructions on how to show that folder
Right click on the DownloadQBXX (where XX is the year of QuickBooks) and select rename
Rename to DownloadQBXXOld
Launch QuickBooks
Click Employees at the top of the screen
Click Get Payroll Updates
Select Download Entire Updates
Press and hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard
Click Update (after clicking update the Ctrl key can be released)
